Such a lovely place. Really good food, with good portion sizes. Welcoming staff and lovely atmosphere. You don't find many places as good as this anymore, a proper gem. Could not recommend more highly
An extremely friendly pub that serves delicious food. It's an old pub, but that didn't take away from our experience. We walked down from the local campsite as their onsite bar/restaurant was full. We were served immediately and had a great meal. The victoria inn us a little gem, and we will return.
Saturday afternoon, only staff member in and he managed 12 meals and drinks with no fuss and limited wait. Food was lovely and not a single complaint, almost helped him behind the bar as he was short staffed. Liked so much we went back that night for more food and drink.
I was staying at a nearby campsite so popped in one evening. Very friendly staff and the food was delicious so i returned the next day as well. Will definitely go back when visiting that way again. Sadly I didn't take any pictures of the food as it was so tasty that I ate it rather quickly haha.
We were camping on the farm opposite and went to pub (as you do ) the landlady and landlord couldn't have been more friendly, funny or helpful. We enjoyed every meal (there were 7 of us all ordering different meals) all delicious, served together and hot, the Doom bar on tap was the best that we had tasted. Sunday lunches were exceptional and lovely puddings. Sorry but we will be coming back
Went here for a Sunday roast.And that was gorgeous, and the staff were very friendly and the food as I said was. Fabulous
Really friendly people,great food and drink,my wife had one of the best rump steaks ever !!! ,old fashioned pub maybe,but we really enjoyed it
